South Delhi

South Delhi is an administrative district of the national capital territory of Delhi in India. It is termed as India’s highest influential area with the highest area number of millionaires in India. It is bounded by the Yamuna River to the east, the district of New Delhi to the north, Faridabad district of Haryana state to the southeast, Gurgaon district of Haryana to the South West Delhi. The district is divided into three subdivisions, Saket, Hauz Khas, and Mehrauli.

How to Reach South Delhi.

By Road: - South Delhi is very well connected by road to the neighbouring states. The main bus stand is at inter-state bus terminus.  All inter-state buses terminate and begin from here.  The Sarai Kale Khan Bus stand adjacent to the Hazrat Nizamuddin Station serves those bus routes headed south out of Delhi city.

By Rail :- The two major railway stations of Delhi are the New Delhi Station close to Connaught Place, and Old Delhi Station in the congested Old Delhi area.

By Air: - Being the Gateway to India and its capital city, Delhi is served by two airports to the southwest of the centre.  The spanking new Indira Gandhi International Airport -Terminal 3, 26 kms from Connaught Place receives all the international flights and many domestic flights as well. Pre-paid taxi services, auto rickshaws, the Delhi metro and airport-city buses are available round the clock to get to the city. You could have a rented car meet you on arrival or ask your hotel to arrange a pick up.
