Jind is a city and Jind district in the Indian state of Haryana It is one of the oldest district of Haryana. Rain Talban is the major tourist palace panda- Pindar and ramrod are the main devotional places attracting devotees for Amavasya bath. Jind name came up from Jointure. It is also said that this town had been founded at the time of the Mahabharata. according to an old saying, the Panamas built the Ajanta devil temple in honor of jaunty devil, offered prayer for success, and then launched the battle with the Karakas. tithe town grey up around the temple and was named which later on came to be known as Jind. Jind is an important pilgrimage destination and has several religious sites to its credit. Bhuteshvara Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva who is also called Bhootnath. This temple was built by Raghbir Singh, the ruler of Jind.
